Delivery
In the UK delivery is carried out by our specialised wine distribution partner London City Bond. Once your order has arrived in their distribution center and excise duty procedures have been completed, they will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. For Italy, Spain and Germany delivery will be done by other forwarders and you will be given track and trace information regarding your shipment. In Belgium and the Netherlands we operate our own distribution service and sometimes also use specialised distribution partners.
Shipping time
Shipping time is indicated with each wine. Most of the Bordeaux wines from our assortment are currently still in wine cellars in Bordeaux. We group customer orders to arrange for specialised, careful transport and excise duty requirements and to keep delivery costs low. We ship wines from Bordeaux once a month, which means your order will typically be shipped within 2 to 4 weeks. In the UK, please expect one additional week before receiving your order as you will be contacted first by London City Bond to schedule a delivery appointment. Wines from the essentials asssortment will be processed within 5 days as these wines we have on stock in our warehouse in the Netherlands.
Shipping destinations
Currently, GrandCruStore delivers in England, Scotland, Wales, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Italy. Contact us for delivery in other countries.
It is also possible to have your order delivered at a different address. Convenient for example if you are sending wines as a gift or for delivery at your office.
Shipping charges
In the UK delivery costs are fixed at £ 19,95, independent of your order size.
In both the Netherlands and Belgium delivery is free, unless your order is below € 50. In that case, shipping costs are € 7,95 in the Netherlands or € 9,95 in Belgium. For Italy shipping costs are € 24,95, for Spain maximum € 29,95 and for Germany € 14,95.
