Château Larrivet Haut-Brion


An estate that had been affected by the wine crisis in the years from 1935 on where production shrank to practically nil. In 1987, it was acquired by the firm of Andros which brought the château back to the winemaking unit it used to be. The dry white wines show a very complex harmony of aromas of white fruit. The reds are full of finesse, although tannic and reach their peak between 5 and 20 years cellaring.
